Description
This putting mat features two different sized hole cups. First, there's an 8cm diameter hole cup, slightly smaller than a real green, allowing you to practice putting while feeling the pressure of putting on a green. The other cup, with a diameter of 5cm, allows you to practice aligning your putt with the white lines drawn on the grass at 6cm intervals, helping you visualize the putting line and improve directional stability. The gentle slope to the cup makes it easy to experience a real green, and it also has a return function, so the ball doesn't accumulate in the cup but returns, allowing for repeated practice. By practicing two different types of putts with this one mat, you can acquire both touch and a stable stroke, leading to improved putting scores. The "Dia Putter Green Series" uses approximately 1.8 times higher density artificial turf*1 to reproduce the touch of a fast 11.8-foot*2 bent green, allowing you to practice putting at home in an environment closer to a real game.
Practice putting fundamentals repeatedly using an 8cm diameter hole cup.
The grass to the left of the hole cup is 10.8cm wide, the same as the actual cup width, while the cup itself is slightly smaller with a diameter of 8cm. Practicing on this width allows you to feel the pressure of a real putter while developing your putting control and concentration. The return function ensures that balls that go into the cup are returned, allowing for repeated practice.
Guidelines at 6cm intervals to help you master the correct launch direction
On the grass to the right of the hole cup, there are two lines drawn 6 cm apart, and a 5 cm cup, roughly the same size as a golf ball, is placed there. By "pulling the putter straight back and hitting it straight" along these lines, you can visualize the direction, which is crucial for short putts, and develop consistent putting skills. White artificial turf is woven into the guidelines.
Replicating bentgrass with high-density*1 artificial turf.
By using high-density artificial turf*1, we have recreated a ball roll similar to that of bentgrass, which makes up about 90% of golf courses in Japan. With a Stimpmeter reading of 11.8 feet*2, you can experience the ball rolling on fast greens. You can practice repeatedly to develop the touch needed to land the ball in the target cup.
